Altaria

On Pokopia Island, Altaria gravitates toward elevated, peaceful areas: hilltops with good visibility, areas with a high Nature sub-score, and habitats where Fairy-type items or Chansey Plants create a sense of soft comfort.. Altaria is a Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon whose body is entirely enveloped in soft white cloud-puff wings that appear to be made of actual cotton. Despite its Dragon typing, Altaria is one of the gentlest Pokémon on the island — it hums quietly as it floats through the air, and any Pokémon that rests against its wings is said to feel an immediate calm

Its cloud-form wings make it one of the most visually distinctive Pokémon to photograph, and several of the most-shared screenshots from the game feature Altaria hovering over a morning-lit Garden Flowers arrangement with Mushroom Lamps still glowing below.. Altaria is a favourite among players who prioritise peaceful, beautiful habitats over high-score optimisation. Its idle animation includes a slow, hypnotic floating rotation that appears genuinely weightless, and it will occasionally descend to float just above the ground beside resting Pokémon as if offering warmth
