Ampharos is drawn to environments with high Lighting sub-scores and a combination of Harbor Streetlights and Utility Poles, which it seems to view as kin. Its idle animation includes a periodic full-brightness pulse from its tail orb that briefly illuminates nearby Pokémon, causing them to look up in surprise before settling again
