Chansey
Chansey carries an egg in its pouch that it shares with anyone who seems to need comfort. The egg is nutritious, the sharing is genuine, and Chansey's reputation for warmth and care is not incidental to its character — it's the whole point. In the Pokémon world, Chansey appear naturally in caring environments, and they arrive where caring is being actively practiced.
Role in Pokopia
Chansey appears in well-established, high-comfort areas — near the social hub, around furniture clusters, in biomes with high environment levels. Their presence in a space is an endorsement of how well that space has been developed for comfort rather than pure aesthetics or habitat efficiency. When Chansey shows up, the island has started to feel genuinely good.
Pokémon Notes
Normal-type from Generation I. Famous for extraordinary HP stats and appearing as nurses' assistants in the anime's Pokémon Centers. Evolves from Happiny (also on this island) with high friendship while holding Oval Stone, and into Blissey via friendship. In Pokopia, Chansey and Happiny coexist — the evolutionary relationship is present but not mechanically forced.
