Minccino

Minccino is a small, gray chinchilla-type Pokémon with enormous round ears and a natural compulsion to clean things. It uses its long tail like a broom, tidying whatever space it occupies. On an island being actively restored from neglect, Minccino's enthusiasm for cleanliness is endearing.

Role in Pokopia

Minccino appears in areas where construction activity has happened recently — near Workbenches, around furniture that's just been placed — seemingly drawn by the novelty of new items in the environment. They'll investigate furniture pieces closely, give them a thorough tail-cleaning, and settle nearby. Their presence is cheerful background noise.

Pokémon Notes

Normal-type from Generation V (Black and White). Minccino evolves into Cinccino via Shiny Stone. In Pokopia, both appear as separate island residents. The two occupy slightly different areas — Minccino near active construction zones, Cinccino in established, well-tended spaces — which reflects their character difference more than their species relationship.
