Dedenne

Dedenne is a small Electric/Fairy-type with enormous round ears that double as antennas, emitting and receiving electrical signals at frequencies other Pokémon can't detect. It's cheerful, social, and uses its whiskers to absorb electricity from power lines — though power lines are in short supply on this particular island.

Role in Pokopia

Dedenne appears in areas with multiple Electric-types present, apparently using its antenna ears to stay in communication with the broader electric community on the island. They're social in a way that feels networked — less individually chatty than Pichu, more systematically connected. Finding Dedenne usually means finding several of them nearby.

Pokémon Notes

Electric/Fairy-type from Generation VI (Kalos). Dedenne is one of the franchise's periodic 'small round Electric mouse with different accessory features' Pokémon, but distinguishes itself with the Fairy dual-typing and the antenna ear design. It appeared prominently in the Kalos anime arc as a companion.
