Flaafy
Flaafy is the middle evolution of Mareep — an Electric-type sheep that has grown from full-wooled to partially bare as electrical charge has accumulated in its body. The wool it does still have crackles with static. The patches of exposed pink skin glow faintly when it's charged up. It looks like it's mid-molt, which is functionally accurate.
Role in Pokopia
Flaafy appears in areas with Mareep, the open grasslands where Electric-types graze. They're less common than Mareep — a natural population balance — and they occupy slightly more elevated positions in the same zones. Their higher charge capacity means they occasionally discharge into the air spontaneously, which other Pokémon nearby have learned to regard as normal.
Pokémon Notes
Electric-type from Generation II. The Mareep-Flaafy-Ampharos line is one of Johto's more distinctive: a fully-wooled sheep that progressively loses its coat as electric potential accumulates. Ampharos, the final form, has a tail that functions as a lighthouse — marine navigation using a sheep.
