Muk
In highly polluted industrial zones it plays an inadvertently useful role, though its methods are difficult to direct or contain.. Muk is a Poison-type Pokemon and the evolved form of Grimer, an enormous mass of toxic sludge that moves with slow but unstoppable purpose, absorbing and decomposing virtually any organic material it contacts. Its body contains concentrations of industrial pollutants, heavy metals, and biological waste products so intense that plants wilt and soil becomes barren wherever it lingers. Despite this ecological impact, Muk is not aggressive: it simply exists as an apex decomposer, processing the worst of environmental contamination with impartial thoroughness
Professor Tangrowth has published thoughtful research on Muk's ecological role as an extreme-environment decomposer, arguing that dismissing it as simply a nuisance misses the genuine scientific value of what it does.. On Pokopia Island, Muk is one of the more challenging Pokemon to attract intentionally, responding primarily to Commerce and Infrastructure scores in densely developed, heavily built districts where organic waste and industrial byproduct accumulate. Its presence is a double-edged proposition: Muk will steadily break down any contamination in its territory, but the immediate environment around it will not be pleasant for most other Pokemon. Tinkmaster treats Muk with pragmatic respect, maintaining a designated industrial periphery area where Muk can operate freely without affecting the main island districts
