Murkrow

Despite its dark reputation, Murkrow is deeply loyal to those it chooses as allies, particularly other Dark-types and anyone who shares its appreciation for opportunistic cleverness.. Murkrow is a Dark and Flying-type Pokemon draped in glossy black feathers and wearing a wide-brimmed hat-like crest that gives it the unmistakable silhouette of a tiny witch's familiar. It is considered an omen of bad luck across many cultures and actively courts that reputation, stealing shiny objects, mimicking voices to lure travellers astray, and cackling at misfortune with evident relish. Murkrow are intensely social within their own kind, forming large roosts that make collective mischief with coordinated efficiency

Peakychu maintains an uneasy territorial truce with Murkrow, the two species sharing aerial space through a complex system of flight corridors that neither has explained to anyone else.. Murkrow is attracted to Commerce and Identity sub-scores on Pokopia Island, gravitating toward districts with visual flair, busy social activity, and the kind of chaotic energy that gives a clever, opportunistic bird plenty to work with. Lighting sub-scores also draw it: Murkrow is nocturnal and responds well to atmospheric after-dark environments where its black plumage becomes dramatically invisible. DJ Rotom has incorporated a Murkrow roost into the sound stage backdrop for evening events, finding that the sudden appearance of dozens of glittering black eyes in the darkness behind the stage creates an atmosphere that no manufactured visual effect could replicate
