Peakychu
Peakychu is an unusually pale Pikachu with a smaller-than-normal tail that emits a faint, persistent glow. The paleness isn't albinism exactly — it's more like Peakychu was simply born quieter than most, a Pikachu with the volume turned down on everything except that tail-light.
Personality and Role
Where the standard Pikachu is bold and sociable, Peakychu is thoughtful and a little enigmatic. They tend to show up at moments that feel significant — watching you plant your first habitat, standing at the edge of a newly restored area — without announcing themselves. Whether this is intuition or something stranger is left deliberately ambiguous.
Peakychu's glowing tail is more than aesthetic. In the context of Pokopia, where you're rebuilding an island that's been dark and empty, a Pokémon who carries their own light has obvious thematic weight.
Pokopia vs. Mainline
In the standard games, a pale Pikachu with unusual features might simply be a regional variant or a rare spawn. Pokopia treats Peakychu as a singular individual with history on this specific island — not a species variant, but a character.
