Voltorb

Despite this explosive personality, Voltorb is drawn to power sources and electrical infrastructure, rolling toward them with persistent, single-minded determination.. Voltorb is an Electric-type Pokemon that so closely resembles a Poke Ball that it is routinely picked up by trainers and Pokemon handlers by mistake, a confusion that ends immediately and badly when it detonates in self-defense. It is one of the most famously temperamental Pokemon in existence, exploding at the slightest provocation with a blast proportional to its frustration level

Experienced island builders learn quickly to appreciate its electric output and treat it with the gentle, non-startling respect it absolutely requires.. On Pokopia Island, Voltorb is drawn to areas with high Infrastructure and Lighting sub-scores, gravitating toward electrical installations, generator-adjacent structures, and any area where power lines or Utility Poles are present. Tinkmaster has a complicated relationship with Voltorb — it finds their proximity to his infrastructure deeply useful in theory, but the explosion risk necessitates careful site planning. Players who install Utility Poles, neon lighting, and electrical-themed decor may find Voltorb rolling purposefully toward these areas and parking itself nearby
