Paper Krane

Paper Krane is an uncommon relic that increases the damage reduction from Weak from 25% to 40%. Normally, Weak causes an enemy to deal 25% less damage; with Paper Krane, Weak enemies deal 40% less damage instead. This makes Weak substantially more powerful as a defensive debuff.

The relic is most valuable in builds that apply Weak reliably, such as the Silent (with multiple Weak-applying cards and potions) or any character with access to a Weak Potion. With Paper Krane, a Weak enemy that would normally deal 75 damage instead deals 45 — a 30-point swing per hit. Against multi-hit bosses or enemies that attack many times per turn, the compounded damage reduction becomes enormous. Paper Krane pairs naturally with Paper Phrog (which enhances Vulnerable) for a dual debuff strategy that slashes both incoming and outgoing damage simultaneously.
