Concrete
Produced by combining Stone, Limestone, and water in a processing step that yields a dense, grey, permanently weather-resistant material, Concrete is one of Pokopia's clearest markers of island maturity. Where early construction uses sticks and leaves, and the mid-game shifts to Lumber and Iron, Concrete signals that the island has progressed from improvised shelter to deliberate infrastructure. Items built from Concrete are heavy, permanent, and communicate stability in a way no wood or stone alone can quite match.
Concrete appears in the recipes for heavy-duty outdoor structures, utility foundations, and any construction requiring a weatherproof base that will look the same in ten years as it does on the day it is placed. The Concrete Pipe, Concrete Mixer, and structural platform items are its natural domain. Players who reach the point where Concrete is a regular part of their crafting queue have, in a meaningful sense, crossed from restoration into development.
