Copper Ore

A mineral with a characteristic green-tinged, oxidized surface, Copper Ore is found embedded in the rocky substrates of Rocky Ridges and in the cave mouths and sheltered rock faces accessible via Rock Smash. It is somewhat rarer than Iron Ore, appearing in smaller veins that require more deliberate exploration to locate consistently. Like all ores in Pokopia's crafting system, it must be smelted into Copper Ingot before it can be used in any recipe.

The distinctive coloration of Copper Ore — green oxidation over reddish-orange metal — makes it visually identifiable in the rock face, which provides a small but satisfying navigation reward to players who have learned to read the geological details of Rocky Ridges. Players building items with warm metallic finishes, kitchen equipment, or precision-metalwork pieces will need to establish a reliable Copper Ore collection route as the game progresses.
