An advanced alloy unique to the Pokopia island ecosystem, Pokemetal is refined from specific high-grade ore deposits using forging techniques that only Tinkaton and their kin possess at the required level of mastery. It is stronger, more uniform, and more precisely workable than standard Iron Ingot, and these qualities make it the material of choice for Pokopia's most mechanically demanding constructions: elevator platforms, floodgates, railway infrastructure, and heavy-duty utility items where ordinary metal would flex or fail under sustained load.

Pokemetal is inseparable from Tinkmaster's presence on the island: the Tinkaton engineer is both the primary source of Tinkagear (which uses Pokemetal components) and the character whose quests most directly demand Pokemetal-based construction. Players who invest in the Tinkmaster relationship and maintain a supply of the raw ores Tinkmaster needs will find their Pokemetal supply reliable; those who approach late-game infrastructure without it will encounter the game's most significant crafting gates.
