Elevator Platform

🎒

The Elevator Platform is a flat iron platform on a vertical lift mechanism, designed to move goods or passengers between two height levels without the gradual incline of Wooden Steps. Crafted from Iron Ingots and Copper Ingots, it contributes significantly to the Structure sub-score and enables a style of vertical habitat architecture that is not achievable with steps alone — abrupt, dramatic level changes that give large island builds a sense of genuine vertical geography. Where Wooden Steps feel organic and rustic, the Elevator Platform is explicitly mechanical, industrial, and intentional.

Pokémon that would struggle with conventional steps — particularly round, heavy, or mobility-limited species like Snorlax, Geodude, and Golem — are reliably observed using the Elevator Platform as a preferred transit route between levels, apparently recognising it as the accommodation it is. Tinkmaster installed the first Elevator Platform on the island specifically after watching Mosslax attempt and fail to navigate a staircase for an extended and increasingly frustrating period. The Elevator Platform pairs with the Lift Platform for a complete vertical-transit infrastructure setup.
