Graveler

⚡

Graveler is a rolling, tumbling Rock/Ground-type — a sphere of rock with four arms, prone to rolling down hillsides at speed and knocking over anything in its path. This is described in the Pokédex as a navigation choice rather than a hazard, but the distinction may be semantic.

Role in Pokopia

Graveler appears in boulder-heavy terrain — Rocky sections of the island, areas where Onix has carved paths, slopes with significant gradient. They tend to move along predictable paths that they've worn into the terrain over time. Players who map these paths find Graveler encounters more predictable, but stepping into a Graveler lane by accident is a reliable surprise.

Pokémon Notes

Rock/Ground-type from Generation I, middle evolution of Geodude into Golem. Geodude is not present on this island, which gives Graveler an unusual status as an apparent dead end — an evolved form without its pre-evolution visible. Whether Graveler evolved here or arrived as its current form is part of the island's unrecorded natural history.
