Greedent
Wild Greedent on the island are doing what Greedent do: hoarding berries in their tails and cheeks with absolute dedication. Their bodies are round, their tails are fuller than any tail has a right to be, and their relationship to food security makes Skwovet's anxiety look casual. Greedent does not take chances with the berry supply.
Chef Dente and the Wild Population
Chef Dente is a named Greedent character who has redirected their hoarding instinct from berries to kitchen tools. Wild Greedent on the island maintain the standard Greedent approach: find berries, store berries, protect stored berries, acquire more berries. The contrast between the two versions of the same species — one who transformed their nature through a specific passion and ones who express it unchanged — is a small character study the game makes available without forcing.
Role in Pokopia
Wild Greedent appear in areas with fruit-bearing plants and berry sources — the island's most botanically developed sections. Their berry-hoarding occasionally creates accidental caches that other small Pokémon discover and benefit from.
Pokémon Notes
Normal-type from Generation VIII (Galar). Greedent is the evolution of Skwovet — both are on this island. The Greedent design leans into the 'embarrassingly full' visual quality: everything about it communicates that it has eaten more than it should and will do it again immediately.
