Leafeon

⚡

Leafeon is the Grass-type Eeveelution — its fur has the texture and color of leaves, its tail fans out like a frond, and it photosynthesizes. It is, in the most literal sense, a plant that happens to also be a Pokémon. In Pokopia, it belongs in the island's greenest, most thoroughly restored areas.

Role in Pokopia

Leafeon appears in biomes with dense Tall Grass coverage and significant tree canopy — the areas most transformed by Leafage and long-term habitat development. It's one of the Eeveelutions that arrives latest, because the habitat it requires takes the most effort to develop. Finding Leafeon in an area you've built up from bare dirt is quietly satisfying.

Pokémon Notes

Grass-type Eeveelution introduced in Generation IV (Diamond and Pearl), where it evolved by leveling up near a Moss Rock. In modern games it evolves via Leaf Stone. In Pokopia, the evolution mechanic doesn't apply — Leafeon is its own island resident — but the Moss Rock logic feels apt: this is a Pokémon whose nature is tied to a specific kind of rich, moss-grown environment.
