Leaves in Pokopia are large, waxy, and structurally useful — the kind you'd find on a tropical plant rather than an oak tree. They're light enough to gather in quantity but sturdy enough to serve as a bedding material. The Straw Bed, made from just two Leaves, is the most direct expression of their practical value.

How to Obtain

Leaves drop from plants and undergrowth when you use Leafage or Cut in vegetated areas. As the island's plant coverage expands — which it will, continuously, as you play — Leaf becomes increasingly easy to gather in bulk. It's one of the few materials that becomes more abundant as the game progresses rather than more scarce.

Crafting Uses

Two Leaves produce a Straw Bed. Straw Beds are a comfort-tier furniture piece that Pokémon will actually use for resting — placing one in a well-designed habitat area nudges the environment level upward. They're also among the cheapest ways to signal that a habitat is intentionally designed and not just accidental growth.
