Wartortle
Wartortle is Squirtle evolved — bigger, more confident, with a flowing tail and a slightly more assured relationship with the water it controls. While Squirtle hangs back near dried streambeds, Wartortle ventures further into the island's restored waterways, a sign of a more settled inhabitant.
Role in Pokopia
Wartortle doesn't teach a unique move but represents the progression that happens when you've maintained a good relationship with the island's water Pokémon over time. Their presence in an area indicates that the water ecosystem has reached a certain stability. They're also a social connector — Wartortle and Squirtle occupy adjacent territory without competition, and areas where both appear tend to be the most water-rich on the island.
Pokémon Notes
Water-type, middle evolution of the Squirtle line, famous from the original games as the awkward middle stage that nevertheless has more personality than its shell-toting junior. In Pokopia, both Squirtle and Wartortle coexist as separate island residents — the game treats evolution as a parallel population rather than a replacement.
