Cloak and Dagger is a common Silent skill that provides 6 Block and adds a Shiv to your hand for 1 Energy. This is excellent value: the Block protects you, and the free Shiv adds 0-cost damage and potential synergy with Shiv-payoff cards like Blade Dance or Accuracy. It's one of the more versatile common skills, contributing meaningfully to both offense and defense in a single play.

Cloak and Dagger is highly sought in Shiv-focused builds, where it both defends and generates Shivs simultaneously. Alongside Accuracy (which buffs all Shivs by 4 damage), the generated Shiv gains significant value. In more aggressive builds, the extra Shiv helps deal incidental damage without spending Energy. Upgraded, it adds 2 Shivs instead of 1, doubling the Shiv output and making it a cornerstone of Shiv-centric strategies. Even without dedicated synergy, the card's raw efficiency makes it worth considering.
