Limit Break

Limit Break is a 1-Energy Ironclad rare skill that doubles your current Strength and then Exhausts (upgraded version does not Exhaust). Doubling Strength is an exponential gain: with 5 Strength, Limit Break brings you to 10; with 10 it brings you to 20. In Strength-scaling builds, a single well-timed Limit Break can transform a moderate damage output into overwhelming burst. The Exhaust makes it a one-per-combat play unupgraded.

The upgrade removing Exhaust is transformative — Limit Break can now be played every cycle, repeatedly doubling Strength turn after turn. Combining upgraded Limit Break with Demon Form (which adds Strength each turn) creates an exponentially scaling damage engine that eventually reaches astronomical levels. One of the Ironclad's most powerful rare cards and a top upgrade priority.
