Skewer

Skewer is an uncommon Silent X-cost attack that deals 7 damage X times, where X is the amount of Energy spent. With 3 Energy, it deals 21 damage; with all available Energy, it can scale to devastating totals. X-cost cards are uniquely powerful because they scale naturally with Energy relics like Cursed Key, Coffee Dripper, or Velvet Choker, turning each point of extra Energy into proportional damage.

Skewer is particularly effective in the late game when Energy is plentiful and can be concentrated into a single turn. It can kill elites and bosses outright when combined with Strength buffs from relics or cards. It's also a strong relic trigger, generating multiple attack instances per play — valuable for Shuriken and Kunai. Upgraded, the damage per hit increases to 10, making each Energy spent significantly more lethal. It's a reliable power spike card for the Silent that can function as a run's win condition.
