Metallicize

Metallicize is a buff that causes the holder to gain a fixed amount of Block at the end of every turn, equal to its stack count. Unlike Block gained from cards, Metallicize's end-of-turn Block does not benefit from Dexterity. The stacks persist across turns and accumulate passively, providing reliable ongoing protection.

Metallicize is associated with The Ironclad and appears on the card of the same name. It is also the defining feature of the Lagavulin elite fight in Act 1, which begins combat with 8 Metallicize, making it very difficult to out-damage without a strong attack deck. Enemies in later acts also use Metallicize as a form of passive defense. Building enough damage to overcome Metallicize is a key consideration when deck-building in Act 1.
