Cloak Clasp

Cloak Clasp is a rare Ironclad-only relic that grants 1 Block for each card in your hand at the end of your turn. If you end a turn holding 3 cards, you gain 3 Block; if you hold 5 cards, you gain 5 Block; and so on. The bonus rewards having a large hand size at end of turn.

Cloak Clasp is strongest in decks that generate a large hand size or that intentionally retain cards in hand at end of turn. It pairs well with cards that draw additional cards (like Pommel Strike or Battle Trance) and relics like Bag of Preparation and Bag of Marbles that increase starting hand size. With Runic Pyramid (which prevents hand discard at end of turn), Cloak Clasp can generate enormous Block each turn from a permanently full hand. The relic rewards the Ironclad in non-exhaust builds that keep cards.
