Sacred Bark

Sacred Bark is a boss relic that doubles the effectiveness of all potions. Every potion heals twice as much HP, deals twice the damage, applies twice the stacks, or otherwise doubles its numerical effect. It is offered as a boss relic reward after defeating an Act boss and dramatically amplifies your potion usage throughout the run.

Sacred Bark transforms already-useful potions into game-changing tools. A standard Strength Potion gives 2 Strength; with Sacred Bark, it gives 4. A Fire Potion deals 20 damage instead of 10. A Fairy in a Bottle restores 30% HP instead of 15%. This makes potions viable as major strategic resources rather than minor supplements. Sacred Bark synergizes strongly with builds that can obtain many potions (through relic effects or events) and with potions that have high base efficiency. It is especially powerful combined with Entropic Brew or other multi-potion generators. It is weaker in runs where few useful potions have been found. Sacred Bark rewards players who hold potions for critical moments rather than using them defensively on low-stakes fights, as doubling a high-value potion at the right time can be run-saving.
