Tree-Shaded Grass
Tree-Shaded Grass is Tall Grass that's grown beneath an existing tree canopy, creating a cooler, dimmer microhabitat within the broader grassland. The shade makes it distinct from open Tall Grass — different Pokémon prefer it, and the atmosphere of the area shifts noticeably.
Attracted Pokémon
The shaded environment draws Pokémon who favor shelter over open exposure: Bug-types who rest in dappled light, certain Grass-types who prefer indirect sun, and the occasional Ghost-type who turns up near dim, sheltered spots. Some species that won't approach standard Tall Grass will reliably appear in Tree-Shaded variants.
How to Create
Tree-Shaded Grass forms naturally when Leafage is used in proximity to an existing tree. The key is tree placement: use Cut to clear unwanted trees selectively, preserving those in useful locations, then use Leafage in their shadow. Trees left standing become habitat anchors as much as aesthetic elements.
