Hydrated Flower Bed

A Hydrated Flower Bed is a Pretty Flower Bed that's been actively maintained — watered regularly with Water Gun and given the conditions to reach its full, lush potential. Where a standard flower bed is pleasant, a Hydrated one is vivid, and the difference in attracted Pokémon reflects that.

Attracted Pokémon

The Hydrated Flower Bed draws Water-types who appreciate proximity to moisture, as well as Grass-types in their most vibrant forms. Pokémon like Lotad, Oddish, and Bellossom have notable preferences for well-watered areas. The habitat also seems to serve as a general signal of a well-tended island — more species appear overall in biomes with at least one Hydrated Flower Bed than in those without any.

Maintenance Note

Unlike most habitats, which persist once created, a Hydrated Flower Bed will eventually dry out without regular Water Gun application. This introduces the game's only ongoing maintenance mechanic — a minor recurring task that keeps the flower bed relevant as an active element of island management rather than a one-time placement.
