Oddish

Oddish is a small Grass/Poison-type that burrows into the ground during the day and wanders freely at night — a nocturnal plant, which sounds contradictory and yet here we are. Its rounded blue body and leaf-topped head make it look like a vegetable that's decided to go for a walk.

Role in Pokopia

Oddish appears specifically in nighttime habitats — Tall Grass and Hydrated Flower Beds after dark. They can be missed entirely by players who only explore during daylight hours, but night expeditions will find them scattered through the island's greener sections. Oddish doesn't teach a move but contributes to the atmosphere of the island at night — which is quieter and stranger than the daytime version.

Pokémon Notes

Grass/Poison-type from Generation I, evolves into Gloom, then splits into Vileplume or Bellossom. Bellossom appears separately on this island (via a different evolutionary path using Sun Stone), giving players the slightly eerie experience of finding the evolutionary endpoint before the midpoint.
