Hot-Spring Spout

The Hot-Spring Spout is a carved stone nozzle mounted at ground level, releasing a steady jet of naturally heated mineral water into whatever basin or open ground surrounds it. Crafted from Stone and Iron Ingots, it contributes to the Water sub-score of your environment and creates a persistent warmth micro-zone that certain Pokémon find irresistible. Paired with a Water Basin it forms a functional hot spring feature; placed beside a Sandbox or open stone area it creates the impression of a natural hot spring bubbling up from below.

Water-type and Fire-type Pokémon are both drawn to the Hot-Spring Spout — the heated water occupies an unusual overlap that appeals to species from either category. Slowpoke, Swinub, and Magmar variants have all been documented soaking near active spouts for extended periods. The Spout is a key component of the hot-spring habitat archetype, which requires at least one water-feature item alongside stone flooring to register as a distinct environment type — unlocking a unique pool of Pokémon encounters not available in standard outdoor areas.
