Calculated Gamble

Calculated Gamble is an uncommon Silent skill that discards your entire hand and draws that many cards, Exhausting afterward — all for 0 Energy. It's a complete hand replacement: if you have 5 cards, you discard all 5 and draw 5 new ones. The Exhaust means it won't cycle back into the deck, so each use is a one-time fresh hand with no Energy cost.

Calculated Gamble is most powerful when your current hand is weak or mismatched, and when discarding triggers other synergies. Tactician (gain 1 Energy when discarded) and Reflex (draw 2 when discarded) both activate on each card Calculated Gamble discards, potentially generating significant resources. In a discard-synergy deck, using Calculated Gamble can trigger multiple Tacticians/Reflexes while also resetting your hand. Upgraded, it draws 1 additional card beyond the number discarded, making it a small net draw on top of the hand replacement.
