Tactician

Tactician is an uncommon Silent skill that discards 1 card and, if that card is a Skill, gains 2 Energy, then Exhausts — all for 0 Energy. The base effect is a free discard trigger; the conditional is a powerful energy refund. In a Skill-dense deck, Tactician essentially reads as "discard a Skill: gain 2 Energy" at zero cost, which is extremely efficient energy generation.

Tactician is a cornerstone of discard-energy strategies for the Silent. Multiple copies can chain energy generation as long as Skills are available to discard. It functions as a powerful combo enabler: use Reflex or Calculated Gamble to discard multiple Skills, with each Tactician in hand adding 2 Energy per use. Upgraded, the energy gain increases to 3, turning each Tactician activation into a near-full Energy refund. In the right deck, multiple upgraded Tacticians enable near-infinite energy turns.
