Dark Embrace

Dark Embrace is a 2-Energy Ironclad Power that draws 1 card whenever you Exhaust a card (upgraded costs 1 Energy). It converts exhaust actions into card draw, essentially making your exhaust pile a second draw source. In exhaust-heavy builds — Corruption, True Grit, Burning Pact, Dead Branch chains — Dark Embrace can produce enormous card draw, potentially drawing through your entire deck in a single turn.

The base 2-Energy cost is steep for a payoff Power, which is why the upgrade to 1 Energy is significant. In Corruption builds where every Skill costs 0 and Exhausts, Dark Embrace draws a card for every skill played, creating a powerful draw engine. Even with moderate exhaust triggers (3-5 per combat), it returns meaningful card advantage. Strong in exhaust-focused Ironclad decks.
