Heavy Blade

Heavy Blade is a 2-Energy Ironclad attack dealing 14 damage (17 upgraded), with the unique property that Strength affects it 3 times (5 times upgraded). This makes it one of the best Strength-scaling attacks in the entire game. With just 5 Strength, Heavy Blade deals 29 damage (base 14 + 5x3); at 10 Strength it deals 44. In Strength-focused builds using Demon Form, Limit Break, or Spot Weakness, Heavy Blade is a primary damage win condition.

Without Strength, Heavy Blade is just a 14-damage attack for 2 Energy — fine but unremarkable. The card lives and dies by your Strength generation. Upgrade it as soon as possible to push to 5x Strength multiplier, which doubles the scaling potential. It's a cornerstone pick in any Ironclad run planning to stack Strength.
