Setup

Setup is an uncommon Silent skill that takes a card from your hand and places it on top of the draw pile, then Exhausts — for 1 Energy. This effectively guarantees the chosen card will be in your hand next turn, enabling precise sequencing and combo setup. It's particularly useful for ensuring you draw a specific key card — like Catalyst after stacking Poison, or a rare attack for a high-priority target.

Setup is a planning tool that rewards knowing your deck and anticipating future turns. In a Poison deck, it ensures Catalyst arrives on time. In a combo deck, it positions your win condition precisely when you need it. The Exhaust prevents it from being spammable but also keeps it from becoming clutter. Upgraded, it no longer Exhausts, allowing repeated use across multiple turns for consistent sequencing without sacrificing a card slot permanently.
