Whirlwind

Whirlwind is an X-cost Ironclad attack that deals 5 damage to all enemies X times (8 damage upgraded). You choose how much Energy to spend, and the card hits every enemy that many times for 5 damage each. In a three-enemy fight with 2 Energy spent (X=2), Whirlwind deals 30 total damage. With Energy Drinks or high-Energy builds, the output becomes enormous. It also benefits massively from Strength, as every hit multiplies the bonus.

Whirlwind is among the best AoE cards in the game and a cornerstone in Energy-rich and Strength-scaling builds. With 3 Energy and 5 Strength, a single play can deal 96 total damage to 3 enemies (3 hits of 10 per enemy, times 3 enemies). Upgraded to 8 damage per hit, the ceiling is even higher. Pair with Energy relics like Sozu or Runic Pyramid for maximum impact.
