Ominous Forge

Ominous Forge is a shared event (appearing in Acts 1-3) where the player finds a forge with various options. They can choose to Forge (upgrade a card in their deck for free), Rummage (remove a card for free), or leave. Both the upgrade and removal options are available as distinct choices, making this a very flexible and positive event.

Ominous Forge is one of the most straightforwardly beneficial shared events, offering free card improvement with player choice. The Forge option is identical to a Campfire upgrade, while Rummage is identical to a Purifier removal. Either option is excellent. If you have both a card you want to upgrade and a card you want to remove, you must choose one — generally, upgrading a key Power or removing a Curse/Strike provides the most consistent value depending on current deck needs.
