The Colosseum

The Colosseum is an Act 2 event where the player is forced to participate in a gladiatorial arena. The first fight is against a Taskmaster and Nob (Gremlin Nob). After winning that fight and choosing to continue, the second fight is against a Slaver and Champion. After the second fight, you may escape or continue for greater reward. Rewards include gold and the ability to earn a relic.

The Colosseum is a demanding event that forces back-to-back combat encounters. The first fight against Taskmaster and Nob is already a tough challenge for Act 2 decks. Choosing to continue after the first fight risks the second combat while already potentially depleted. Decks that are strong enough to handle both fights can earn substantial gold rewards and the Colosseum relic. Weaker decks should carefully consider whether the rewards are worth the consecutive HP drain.
