The Divine Fountain

The Divine Fountain is a shared event (appearing in Acts 1-3) where a magical fountain cleanses all Curse cards from the player's deck. All copies of all Curse cards currently in your deck are removed permanently. There is no cost, combat, or sacrifice required — the cleansing is automatic and free upon encountering this event.

The Divine Fountain is an extremely valuable event if you have accumulated Curses during the run. Curses are entirely negative cards that provide no benefit while taking up hand space and causing various penalties when drawn. Removing them for free is exceptional value. If you have no Curses in your deck, the event provides nothing, making it context-dependent. Builds that have taken Curses from events like Cursed Tome or Forgotten Altar benefit enormously from The Divine Fountain.
