Charon's Ashes

Charon's Ashes is a rare relic that deals 3 damage to all enemies every time you Exhaust a card. Exhausting a card removes it from play for the rest of the combat. This transforms every Exhaust effect — from cards, from other relics, or from status effects like Burn being played — into free AOE damage.

The relic is most powerful in builds that Exhaust many cards per fight. The Ironclad's exhaust-heavy archetype (using cards like Offering, Sentinel, and Entrench, plus relics like Dead Branch) can proc Charon's Ashes dozens of times per combat for massive AOE damage. Even outside dedicated exhaust builds, any character with some exhaust in their deck sees free damage. It pairs especially well with Dead Branch (which adds a random card to hand each time you exhaust) creating a loop of exhaust triggers that also procs Charon's Ashes repeatedly.
