Bleak Beach

🌿

Situated along Pokopia Island's western coast, Bleak Beach is a shoreline shaped entirely by ocean force: salt-scoured driftwood lies scattered above the tide line, pebbles worn smooth by years of wave action, and fragments of sea glass glinting wherever they've settled. The name is candid — this is not a welcoming coastal retreat — yet the beach carries its own austere beauty, particularly at low tide when the rocky shelf reveals tidal pools alive with aquatic species. Water-type Pokemon are drawn here instinctively, and the shoreline fills with activity once Ditto establishes a meaningful presence.

Bleak Beach serves as Pokopia's foremost source of coastal crafting materials. Seashells arrive with every tide, Beach Sand lines the waterline in effectively unlimited supply, and Sea Glass Fragments congregate in clusters that shift daily with wave patterns. Accessing the sea-stack formations and offshore zones where rarer coastal species reside requires the Surf move, meaning players must befriend Lapras before the full extent of Bleak Beach can be explored.
