Ditto Flag

The Ditto Flag is a pennant flag printed with the cheerful, blobby face of a Ditto — all wide eyes and perpetual smile — mounted on a wooden pole and flown as a declaration of island identity. Crafted from Wastepaper and Sturdy Sticks, it contributes to the Colour sub-score and the Identity sub-score, a metric that reflects how distinctively the island has been branded and personalised. Flying a Ditto Flag signals to arriving Pokémon and visitors that this island has a character of its own, and Ditto — who seems to appreciate being iconised — is more frequently sighted near its own flag than anywhere else on the island.

The Ditto Flag is a community favourite among long-term players for its blend of simplicity and charm — it requires minimal materials, contributes meaningfully to environment scores, and generates consistent reactions from visiting Pokémon. Ditto itself will often transform into the flag in idle animations when placed near one, creating a disorienting but delightful moment where the flag appears to have gained a body. Pairing a Ditto Flag at the island's entrance with a Community Box and Sign completes an arrival experience that feels welcoming, personalised, and genuinely communal.
