In Pokopia, that instinct is correct: Sturdy Sticks are among the most versatile early materials, used in outdoor crafting and as a component in the Campfire.

How to Obtain

Sturdy Sticks come from cutting trees and dense brush with the Cut move (taught by Scyther). They drop reliably from most tree-clearing operations, making them one of the first abundant materials available once you have Cut unlocked.

Crafting Uses

The Campfire is the primary crafting use for Sturdy Sticks, requiring one stick alongside one Stone. A Campfire placed near Chef Dente's usual location transforms it into a functional cooking site and a natural gathering point for the island's Pokémon population. Don't overlook this social function — some character interactions only trigger near active campfires.
