Party Popper

The Party Popper is a handheld celebratory tool that, when triggered, releases a burst of confetti and streamers — or, in its habitat-item form, is displayed as a permanently mid-burst installation that freezes the moment of celebration in perpetuity. Crafted from Wastepaper and Stone, it contributes to the Colour sub-score and signals unambiguously that something festive is happening in this part of the island. A habitat entrance decorated with Party Poppers mid-burst is the outdoor equivalent of a welcome announcement: exuberant, warm, and impossible to miss.

Pokémon with playful, high-energy temperaments — Marill, Togepi, Cleffa — are reliably drawn to festive Colour-heavy environments, and the Party Popper is one of the most efficient single items for hitting the Colour sub-score threshold that attracts this cluster of species. It pairs naturally with Balloons, Pinwheels, Party Bunting, and Fireworks for a full celebration aesthetic. DJ Rotom never launches an outdoor event without a ring of Party Poppers around the stage perimeter, citing them as essential for ensuring the right energy from the moment the first guest arrives.
