Refrigerator

The Refrigerator is a full-height white appliance with a chrome handle, the most unmistakeably domestic utility item in the outdoor catalogue and the one that most clearly signals that an inhabited kitchen is nearby. Crafted from Iron Ingots and Copper Ingots, it contributes to the Food sub-score while adding to the Structure sub-score, and its presence transforms any outdoor area with cooking items into something that reads as a genuine working kitchen rather than a campsite. Unlike the Cooking Pot or Bread Oven, it implies refrigerated storage — an infrastructure commitment that suggests the kitchen operates daily.

Chef Dente's outdoor kitchen is anchored by a Refrigerator stocked with what she describes as “everything that can't wait” — primarily ingredients sourced from Pokémon who leave items near her preparation area as a form of collaboration she finds deeply moving. Ice-type and Water-type Pokémon are drawn to cold-storage appliances and will often press against the side of a placed Refrigerator in idle animations, apparently enjoying the residual coolness. The Refrigerator pairs with the Sink, Cutting Board, and Frying Pan for a complete equipped-kitchen utility cluster.
