Sink

The Sink is a wall-mounted or freestanding basin with a chrome tap — the most fundamentally practical item in the domestic utility cluster and the one that most clearly establishes running-water infrastructure on the island. Crafted from Stone and Copper Ingots, it contributes to both the Domestic sub-score and the Water sub-score, a dual contribution that makes it unusually efficient for its crafting cost. Its placement in an outdoor kitchen area beside a Cutting Board and Frying Pan creates a plausible food-preparation workflow and signals a level of culinary organisation that goes well beyond campfire cooking.

Water-type Pokémon with small-water preferences — Marill, Wooper, Seel — are drawn to Sink placements and will frequently attempt to access the basin in idle animations, occasionally managing to turn the tap and then sitting in evident satisfaction as the water runs. Chef Dente regards a nearby Sink as non-negotiable in any cooking setup: “A kitchen without running water isn’t a kitchen.” The Sink pairs with the Washing Machine and Shower to complete the domestic water-services trio, and a compound containing all three sits at the top of the Domestic sub-score rankings.
