Wooden Path

🎒

Wooden Path is a narrow plank boardwalk, wide enough for one person and one Pokémon to walk abreast, designed to thread through gardens, across soft ground, or between outdoor zones without disturbing the landscape it crosses. Crafted from Small Logs, it contributes to the Flooring sub-score while maintaining the light, organic feel that Stepping Stones also provide — but in a more continuous and directional format. A Wooden Path creates clear circulation through an outdoor area, pulling visitors from one zone to the next and preventing the aimless drift that makes large habitats feel unfocused.

Wooden Path is the routing backbone of most well-built island environments, connecting the docks to the Workbench area, threading through Garden Flowers toward the Water Basin, or leading from the main Wooden Gate to the primary habitat zone. Flying-type Pokémon that follow linear features while foraging — Taillow, Starly, Fletchling — have been observed using Wooden Paths as guidance corridors, following them from one end to the other before lifting off. Laying a Wooden Path beneath a row of Mushroom Streetlights or Harbor Streetlights creates a fully lit, navigable corridor that is both functionally excellent and visually satisfying.
