Deadly Poison

Deadly Poison is a common Silent skill that applies 5 Poison to an enemy for 1 Energy. Poison deals damage equal to its stack count at the start of each enemy turn, then decreases by 1, making it a damage-over-time effect that scales powerfully with additional stacks. At 5 stacks from a single card, Deadly Poison pays for itself in roughly 2 turns and continues generating value for several more.

Deadly Poison is one of the most efficient Poison applicators available to the Silent and is a cornerstone of Poison-focused builds. Multiple copies layer stacks quickly, and it pairs well with Noxious Fumes (which applies Poison each turn passively), Catalyst (which doubles current Poison stacks), and Corpse Explosion (which punishes high-Poison enemies). Upgraded, it applies 8 Poison instead of 5, dramatically accelerating the ramp-up timeline and making it one of the best upgrade targets in a Poison deck.
