Slimed

Slimed is a status card added to your deck by the Slime Boss and Acid Slime enemies. Unlike most status cards, it actually costs 1 Energy to play and immediately Exhausts — making it the only playable status in the game. While paying 1 Energy for nothing seems purely negative, Slimed can be turned into a minor asset: it triggers on-play effects from relics like Mummified Hand, can feed Defect's exhaust synergies, and in desperate situations lets you thin a clogged hand. Still, avoid accumulating too many.
