Blessing of the Forge

Blessing of the Forge is a common potion that upgrades all cards currently in your hand for the rest of the combat when used. Unlike most upgrade effects, this applies immediately and persists through the entire fight, giving every card in your current hand its upgraded version. It can be found as a drop from enemies, purchased at merchants, or obtained through certain events.

The strategic strength of Blessing of the Forge depends heavily on what's in your hand at the moment you use it. Ideal timing is when you're holding multiple high-impact cards that benefit significantly from upgrading — for example, Ironclad Strike upgrades deal more damage, Defend cards grant more Block, and many character-specific cards gain powerful additional effects. Since the upgrade lasts the whole combat, using it early in a fight against an elite or boss maximizes its value. It pairs especially well with cards that have a large upgrade delta, and its effectiveness is amplified in decks with low card counts where individual card quality matters more.
